Keith Ablow- An Eminent Author, Psychiatrist, and Personality

Keith Russell Ablow, born to Jeanette Norma and Allan Murray Ablow is an eminent American psychiatrist, author, and a television personality. Keith Ablow was born on November 23, 1961. Formerly, Keith Ablow was an assistant clinical professor at the Tufts University School of Medicine. Ablow is a well known expert on psychiatry who made immense contribution to the psychiatric developments featuring on Fox News Channel. His work also featured on The Blaze which is a leading podcast channel.



Ablow was a renowned member of the American Psychiatric Association which he resigned from in the year 2011.

Born in Marblehead, Massachusetts, Ablow graduated in 1979 from Marblehead High School. In 1983, Ablow completed his degree in Bachelor of Science, specializing in neurosciences from Brown University. The Johns Hopkins Medical School awarded him the degree of Doctor of Medicine after five years of intense training and effort.  Ablow made great contributions to the field of psychiatry by successfully treating ailing patients.

Keith Ablow was awarded the psychiatry residency by the Tufts-New England Medical Center. In the year 1993 he got board certified and started performing psychiatric treatments. He received his certification from the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology in the year 1993. While still continuing his medical studies, he started working for a famous news daily, the NewsWeek. He also freelanced for the Washington Post, Baltimore Sun, and USA Today.

After successfully completing residency in Psychiatry & Neurology, Keith Ablow served as a medical director and practitioner at various Tri-City Mental Health Centers. He also served as a medical director at the Heritage Health Systems.

Ablow started his writing career by writing for leading publication houses such as The New York Times, World Report, The Washington Post and many more. He also was featured on the famous Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America and more. Ablow, being a keen writer has 15 books to his name some of which have been published by the renowned American Psychiatric Association.

Dr Keith Ablow became a TV sensation and a sort after personality when he launched “The Keith Ablow Show” which was a syndication by the Warner Bros.

Keith Ablow raised a total 1.25M for the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center. He is the co-founder of eminent institutions such as Greener.com, Causemo.com, and Neuragain.com. These charitable institutions are known to raise funds and help the needy during periods of crisis.
